The Jungle Pool Nainital is located in the small village of Bajoon, around 1.5 km from Khurpatal Lake and 10 km from Nainital in Uttarakhand. Surrounded by tall pine trees which somes under the Corbett &Pangot bird century range, the resort offers a quiet stay in poolside cottages offering expansive views of the surrounding hills and jungles. A swimming pool with a depth of 3.5-5 feet offers abundant opportunities to unwind and relax. Take a dive or spend away your time reading a book by the pool. An in-house restaurant serves local pahadi dishes among other north Indian delicacies look out for bhatt ki churdkani, a soupy Kumaoni dish made of black beans. The area around the resort is ideal for nature treks, camping, and star-gazing. Start your day with a long nature walk amid the pine forests and hills or meditating in the green lawns of the resort next to the swimming pool. Have your meals outdoors, taking in the scenic views of the hills and forests. Or set out on a cycling trip, exploring the village and the areas nearby.

Have your picnic basket packed from the resort and spend hours sitting by the quiet Khurpataal Lake (1.5 km). The lake is not very popular among tourists, and that is what makes it ideal for those looking to spend some time in solitude. Put on your trek shoes and set out on a jungle trail (100 m) traversing through tall pine trees and shrubs. Head to Saritatal Waterfalls (2.5 km) and bathe under the cold running water emerging from the hills. Sign up for a paragliding session at Naukuchiatal (30 km) and Mangoli (5 km) and soar through the high skies. Bookings for paragliding can be done on the spot.
Birds Watching
A sea of migratory birds flock the village of Bajoon and nearby areas in the months of December and January, as being in the range of a popular Bird sanctuary around, attracting tourists from around the world. If you happen to visit the destination during this period, do grab your binoculars and go on a birding tour. Expect to catch sight of black-headed jays, woodpeckers, Himalayan jaffrons among eagles and pigeons.
